Schenn, who has 12 goals and 27 assists in 24 games this season for the Brandon Wheat Kings in the Western Hockey League, was signed after the Kings placed Andrei Loktionov on injured reserve because of an upper-body injury.

Analysis: Giguere, who made 41 saves in Monday's 3-2 shootout victory over Calgary, has won two in a row after going 0-3-2 with a 3.38 GAA in his first six games while bothered by a strained groin. The Ducks host Chicago on Friday, and in Giguere's only start against the Blackhawks last season, the 12-year veteran stopped 34 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss on March 3.

Analysis: The Kings visit Vancouver on Thursday, and Quick, who was just 2-5-0 with a 3.29 GAA in his previous seven games, has recorded a 1.98 GAA in losing his last three starts against the Canucks.

Analysis: Brodeur, who is 13-6-1 with a 2.16 GAA on the season, won his first game since Nov. 14. The Devils play Boston on Friday, and Brodeur is 7-2-0 with a 2.07 GAA against the Bruins since 2005-06.
Fisher, who scored the overtime winner Monday in Ottawa's 4-3 win over Washington, missed Wednesday night's 3-1 loss in New Jersey with an upper-body injury.
