11/26/2009 Brayden Schenn, C, LA Schenn made his NHL debut Thursday night for the Los Angeles Kings after signing a one-day amateur tryout agreement.

Analysis: The 18-year-old center, drafted fifth overall last summer, was given the tryout agreement because he hasn't signed an entry-level contract. Schenn, who has 12 goals and 27 assists in 24 games this season for the Brandon Wheat Kings in the Western Hockey League, was signed after the Kings placed Andrei Loktionov on injured reserve because of an upper-body injury.
11/26/2009 Marian Hossa, RW, Chi After rehabbing from right shoulder surgery for the first 7 1/2 weeks of the season, Hossa made an immediate impact in his season debut, scoring twice to help Chicago to a 7-2 victory over San Jose, the team's eighth in a row and fourth on a six-game road trip.

Analysis: "I didn't expect to click right away like that," said Hossa, who signed a 12-year, $62.8 million contract with Chicago in July after leading Detroit with 40 goals last season. The Blackhawks visit Anaheim on Friday, and the four-time All-Star had a goal and two assists in four games against the Ducks last season with the Red Wings.
11/26/2009 Jean-Sebastien Giguere, G, Anh Giguere stopped 27 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 win over Carolina.

Analysis: Giguere, who made 41 saves in Monday's 3-2 shootout victory over Calgary, has won two in a row after going 0-3-2 with a 3.38 GAA in his first six games while bothered by a strained groin. The Ducks host Chicago on Friday, and in Giguere's only start against the Blackhawks last season, the 12-year veteran stopped 34 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss on March 3.
11/26/2009 Jon Quick, G, LA Quick stopped 22 shots in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Oilers.

Analysis: The Kings visit Vancouver on Thursday, and Quick, who was just 2-5-0 with a 3.29 GAA in his previous seven games, has recorded a 1.98 GAA in losing his last three starts against the Canucks.
11/26/2009 Miikka Kiprusoff, G, Cgy Kiprusoff stopped 27 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Phoenix.

Analysis: Kiprusoff was just 1-2-1 with a 3.49 GAA in his previous four games.
11/26/2009 David Legwand, C, Nsh Legwand scored the game winner in overtime for Nashville in Wednesday's 4-3 win at Colorado.

Analysis: Legwand has three goals and four assists in his last five games after tallying one goal and four assists in his first 18 games.
11/26/2009 T.J. Oshie, C, StL Oshie had a goal and an assist in the Blues' 4-3 shootout win over the Stars on Wednesday.

Analysis: Oshie has recorded points in just three of his last eight games, but each of those games with a multipoint effort.
11/26/2009 Tuukka Rask, G, Bos Rask stopped 28 shots in Bostons' 2-1 shootout win over the Wild on Wednesday.

Analysis: Rask is 7-2-1 with a 2.13 GAA on the season, and has posted a 1.68 GAA in winning his last four starts.
11/26/2009 Ondrej Pavelec, G, Atl Pavelec made 40 saves for his second shutout of the season and his career to lift the Atlanta Thrashers to a 2-0 victory Wednesday night over the Red Wings.

Analysis: Pavelec was 1-2-2 with a 3.36 GAA in his previous five starts. His lone win in that span was a shutout over the Kings on Nov. 13.
11/26/2009 Henrik Lundqvist, G, NYR Lundqvist stopped 25 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Panthers.

Analysis: The Rangers play the Lightning on Friday, and Lundqvist is 10-4-2 with a 1.86 GAA and one shutout lifetime against Tampa Bay.
11/26/2009 Sidney Crosby, C, Pit Crosby had a goal and an assist in Pittsburgh's 3-1 win over the Canadiens on Wednesday.

Analysis: The Penguins play the Islanders on Friday, and Crosby, who has 12 goals and 13 assists on the season, has three goals and eight assists in his last five games against New York.

11/26/2009 Semyon Varlamov, G, Was Varlamov made 25 saves in Washington's 2-0 win over the Sabres on Wednesday.

Analysis: The Capitals play Montreal on Saturday, and Varlamov, who is 9-1-2 with a 2.35 GAA on the season, made 32 saves in his only career game against the Canadiens, a 2-1 victory on Dec. 13.

Analysis: The Capitals play Montreal on Saturday, and the Canadiens are one of four teams to hold Ovechkin without a point this season.
11/26/2009 Martin Brodeur, G, NJ Brodeur made 24 saves in New Jersey's 3-1 win over Ottawa on Wednesday.

Analysis: Brodeur, who is 13-6-1 with a 2.16 GAA on the season, won his first game since Nov. 14. The Devils play Boston on Friday, and Brodeur is 7-2-0 with a 2.07 GAA against the Bruins since 2005-06.
11/26/2009 Mike Fisher, C, Ott Fisher, who scored the overtime winner Monday in Ottawa's 4-3 win over Washington, missed Wednesday night's 3-1 loss in New Jersey with an upper-body injury.

Analysis: Fisher had three goals and four assists in the previous four games, and he was second on the team in goals (10) and points (21).
11/26/2009 Milan Lucic, LW, Bos Lucic limped off the ice and back to the locker room with an apparent leg injury late in the third period of Wednesday night's 2-1 win at Minnesota.

Analysis: Lucic had scored two goals in the previous three games.

Analysis: Heshka had two assists in eight games.

Analysis: There are not many details on Spacek's injury, so continue to monitor the developments.
11/25/2009 Scott Hannan, D, Col Hannan returned for Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to Nashville after leaving the Avalanche's 5-4 win over Philadelphia on Monday with a neck injury.

Analysis: The defenseman is expected to play Wednesday against Nashville, as the injury isn't thought to be serious.
