Analysis: The Bobcats wavered on Ajinca's future as he has failed to fit into Charlotte's rotation. A native of France, the 7-foot Ajinca was the 20th pick in the 2008 draft. He played in only 31 games last season and averaged 2.3 points. Coach Larry Brown then criticized his play and effort when he watched him try out for the French national team last summer.

Analysis: Brown was livid with Ajinca after traveling to his native France to watch him try out for the national team. "I could have strangled him watching him," Brown said. "I was going there to drink the wine and eat the food and enjoy myself. After watching him, nothing tastes good. ... He showed no interest in making their team or playing hard."
